Future singapore

Beside the IR which many are awaiting for. Today the news announced the 5 Circle Line stations open.

below shows the future singapore MRT system map:


In short, total there are 29 stations all together for this circle line. Up-to-date now 5 stations were opened. (highlighted in red below)

"While it is not clear yet which other stations will open next, the LTA said six stations have already received the Temporary Occupation Permit - an indication that they will be next in line."

Dhoby Ghaut, Bras Basah, Esplanade, Promenade, Stadium and Tai Seng.

There is one thing we can deduce here, Nicoll Highway construction is slow. lol!

The sequence should be - Dhoby Ghaut, Bras Basah, Esplanade, Promenade, Nicoll Highway then Stadium and now Nicoll Highway is not mentioned in the next to be in line. Meaning the trains will start rolling from Dhoby Ghaut to Promenade and say bye bye to Stadium.
